“How to change yourself.” A step by step guide by someone who used to hate himself.
Step one: Understand you have a problem.
Step two: Realize that only you can make a change for yourself.
Step three: Take it slow, there’s no rush.
Step four: Find an outlet like gaming or arting.
Step five: Bacon.
Step six: Make friends (This is a really hard part ohmigod)
Step seven: Psych yourself out, start believing the opposite of what you say about yourself, unless it’s good stuff. Like, if you call yourself a loser, you’re supposed to think you’re a winner but if you call yourself a winner then believe you are a winner.
Step eight: Find a song that makes you cry tears of joy, like, mine is the ducktales theme song. And Gangnam Style.
Step nine: Confide in your friends, they’re there for a reason, get help from them if you need it.
Step ten: Set goals, my goals were “Learn to talk to people, learn to love, learn to be a little social, learn to dance, learn to art.”
And finally, step eleven. why step eleven? Because I like to go one step beyond.
Step eleven: Remember that the ONLY thing holding you back is yourself, your only obstacle, is yourself, your only enemy, is yourself. And that one guy who called you a fag on anon, but he’s a douche so don’t worry about him.
